Palin takes Gifford

We have to become aware that one way to get somebody and still be considered
innocent is to arouse a disturbed person to do the crime for you.

Just as screaming that doctors are murdering babies successfully targeted
doctors, so the emotional rhetoric of a Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck was bound to
arouse the ire of that always available pool of mentally disturbed citizens.

Still, I suspect they are as surprised by the massacre in Tucson as Osama bin
Laden was when the Twin Towers collapsed. Sometimes you get more than you wished
